Western Progress began with a vision held by its founder, Bellz, to create a safe, welcoming space on the Fire Star AUS 1 server. Her goal was to introduce a fresh and unique approach to gameplay one that prioritised community, creativity, and inclusivity.
As the club concept developed, Bellz recognised the need for a co-owner and immediately knew her best friend, Kelly, would be the perfect fit. After sharing her ideas and long-term vision for Western Progress, Kelly enthusiastically accepted the role of Official Co-Owner. Bellz and Kelly had been close friends for a few years prior to the club’s creation and had remained connected both in game and in real life, frequently communicating and even planning trips to meet. Their bond continued to strengthen, built on mutual trust and a shared understanding that real-life commitments always come first.
As Western Progress approached its second year, the club continued to grow and evolve. While previous co owners had stepped away due to personal commitments, Bellz later offered co ownership to two individuals who had demonstrated long-standing loyalty, dedication, and alignment with the club’s values from near its beginning.
The first was Haley Northfield (Halz), who had been part of Western Progress since its earliest weeks. Her consistent commitment and dedication reflected the core values Bellz sought in a co-owner.
The second was Sakura Snowstar (Starla), whose dedication stood out from the very beginning. Starla became the first Wildee to train outside of scheduled club hours, consistently showing initiative, passion, and creativity. Through shared ideas and collaboration, a strong friendship developed between Bellz and Starla, one that extended beyond the game and into real life, where they met in person and continued building stronger, more innovative ideas for the future of Western Progress.

Bellz has been part of the Star Stable community since 2012, creating her current character in 2013 to better reflect her identity. An experienced equestrian since the age of eight, her real-life journey began with her first horse, Brandy, who now enjoys retirement. Bellz competed through Pony Club and Sporting Horse Australia, experiences that later inspired the creation of Western Progress’s “New Western Fundamentals.”

After the loss of her heart horse, Pirate, in 2024, Bellz chose
to step back from riding and instead dedicate her time
and passion to Western Progress. Pirate remains the heart of
the club, honoured as its mascot and icon, and continues
to inspire Bellz’s vision to create something truly historic
and unique within the Star Stable community.

I would like to express my profound pride in the growth of WP as it has evolved into an extraordinary club. Since joining WP, I have developed a deep appreciation for its distinct qualities. The opportunity to serve
as a co-founder alongside Bellz has been immensely rewarding. In our journey, we have not only welcomed remarkable members into WP but
also outstanding members of the staff team who have significantly
contributed to our success. Regrettably, as time has progressed, my commitments have necessitated extended working hours, reducing
my availability to attend events and engage in club-related
activities. However, I am sincerely grateful for the unwavering
support and understanding shown by Bellz, Starla, and Halz. Through it
all, WP has been enriched by its compassionate and wonderful members, and I am honored to embrace them as part of my family. I eagerly anticipate the future endeavors that lie ahead.

Starla first joined Western Progress in March of 2024 after
instantly falling in love with the club’s fundamentals, uniforms, and overall vibe. After playing on and off for a while and struggling to find
a club that truly felt welcoming and family-oriented,
Western Progress stood out as the perfect fit; especially with her long-standing love for western riding. Bursting with ideas and passion
for the club, she was warmly welcomed onto staff in July 2024,
where she quickly found her place. Along the way, she also built an incredible bond with the owner, Bellz, making Western Progress
feel not just like a club, but a home.
