Western Progress was officially founded by Bellz (Bella Snowstorm) in January 2024 on the original Australian/New Zealand server, Fire Star AUS1. With a clear vision, she set out to introduce a fresh identity and theme to the community. One that prioritised a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment. The club was designed to be kind, enjoyable, stylish, and family minded, with an initial focus on adult players aged 18 and over, while still remaining open and approachable to the wider community.

Although Western Progress was established as an adult based club, interest quickly grew beyond the intended age bracket. Following an open event, members from various age groups expressed strong interest and began joining in large numbers, filling available positions at a rapid pace and marking the beginning of the club’s growth into a broader, community driven space.

During the early stages of designing and developing the club’s foundational blueprint, Bellz,  began seeking a co-owner who shared her vision and passion for building something meaningful within the community. This search led to Kelly (Denise Lightningvalley), who quickly connected with the concept and values behind Western Progress. An offer for the co-owner position was extended and accepted, marking the beginning of a strong leadership partnership and a shared commitment to the club’s growth.

Together, Bellz and Kelly drafted, developed, and refined a club dedicated to the Western community, introducing innovative ideas and setting clear standards for structure, creativity, and professionalism. Their combined efforts laid the groundwork for Western Progress to evolve into a respected and recognisable presence within the community.

In late 2025, as the club continued to expand, Bellz further strengthened the leadership team by offering co-owner positions to Sakura Snowstar (Starla) and Halz (Haley Northfield). Their inclusion marked an important step in supporting the club’s increasing scale, event offerings, and long-term vision.

Within Western Progress, often referred to as the “Rodeo Grounds” the leadership set out to build a club where members are encouraged to express themselves freely and authentically. The club was designed as a safe haven, allowing players to enjoy their Star Stable journey without fear of judgement, within clearly defined and respectful boundaries. At its core, Western Progress is committed to fostering an inclusive environment that actively rejects judgement, harmful behaviour, inappropriate comments, or slurs of any kind, both within the club and across the wider Star Stable Online community.
 

Western Progress also strives to promote positivity, enjoyment, and a welcoming presence at all times, maintaining standards of politeness, presentation, and support toward both members and the community. A key objective has been to create a space particularly for adult players that values a more relaxed and understanding club culture, especially in regard to real life commitments. Members are encouraged to prioritise their lives outside of Star Stable, without pressure or obligation.
 

At the same time, the club encourages reasonable activity and participation to ensure the community remains active and connected. Members are invited to attend events where possible, helping the club continue to grow while allowing those who are more active to contribute meaningfully to the space. In 2026, the leadership team expanded further, resulting in an established and structured leadership group dedicated to hosting events, providing guidance, and supporting the club’s continued development. This expansion ensures Western Progress remains sustainable, welcoming, and capable of evolving alongside its community.
